Origin of Dalgona coffee
You’ve probably heard of it: Dalgona Coffee, or Dalgona Coffee is a specialty coffee that originated in Asia and swept the internet from South Korea during the COVID-19 pandemic as an internet phenomenon!
It is not entirely clear where Dalgona coffee originated. However, the concept of beating coffee and sugar has been around for some time in Korea, India or Greece.
The drink is based on the Indian, vertically inverted variant Beaten Coffee (Indian: phenti hui), also known as Indian Cappuccino.
Preparation of Dalgona coffee

The airy Dalgona coffee made from three simple ingredients

- glass jar
materials:
- 2 spoons instant coffee
- 2 spoons brown suger
- 2 spoons ho water
- 1/2 A glass of milk, oats or cashews also work well
the steps to prepare coffee:
Step 1 : Dissolve sugar
Place instant coffee, sugar, and hot water in a glass container and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Step 2 : Blend until firm
Now mix with the hand mixer until it slowly becomes firm. The consistency is reminiscent of whipped cream. This can take up to 5 minutes!
Step 3 : Serve and enjoy
For iced coffee: Put ice cubes and cold milk in a glass and fill up with the fluffy Dalgona mass. This creates a great layering!
For hot coffee: preheat milk and pour into the glass, fill up with Dalgona coffee.
Ratio: 2/3 milk, 1/3 Dalgona coffee.
